It is necessary that elementary education becomes a natural course of action. Those who have a basic knowledge of reading, writing and arithmetic don't have to believe everything that is read or stipulated to them or calculated for them. Tambanevane e.V. is active on behalf of health education, family planning, school education and wants to enable families economically to take care for themselves.
We want to help the people of Murewa to live indepentently, not just to survive.

And this is how we want to help:
If their children are well looked after the mothers have the possibility to work. Tambanevana bought sewing machines and employs two tailors, who make everyday clothes for the children and for the teachers. This has also become a source of income for the project.

A chicken run helps to provide the kindergarten with eggs and meat. The selling of the products is another small source of income.

A crèche is under construction. It's supposed to take care of AIDS orphans from babyhood until they are three years old. We need your help to finish this project as the State of Zimbabwe will only support it when it is ready to be put into operation.

Another goal is to be able to take on and support more underprivileged children. But this is only possible with more financial support from the German organisation. At the moment we are still dependent on children with parents who can pay the monthly fee to cover the monthly budget.
