Since 1994we have been able to put some of the projects into effect financed by donations and membership fees, earnings from flee markets and concerts: building of a pre-school with classrooms, kitchen equipment, sanitary facilities, furniture for the education and full-time day care for about 100 children. The kindergarten had a van to be used as a schoolbus for those children who live in the surrounding area of Murewa. The bus had to be sold recently because it was too old and too expensive to maintain and at the moment there is not enough money for a new one. For some children this means that they have to walk several hours every day. The wages of the teachers and the nurses will have to be supporteduntil one day the project will be able to budget self-financed.

Because of the AIDS catastrophe in Africa every day hundreds of children lose their parents. Unfortunately we cannot help all of them. But for many the Tambanevana Project has become a new home.

Our next project is the building of a centre for health and AIDS consultation, and family planning.

Your donations reach the project without roundabout ways and without administrative costs. The work here is done in an honorary capacity: Internet website, asking for donations, company contacts, organizing fleemarkets and concerts. We take care that all donations reach the project at 100 %. We are regularely informed about the state of affairs on the spot.
